Off to the Emerald Isle!

Enjoying the beautiful sights on the Ring of Kerry

Enjoying the beautiful sights on the Ring of Kerry

Well my foodie friends, I am about to depart on a 2 week vacation to Ireland with my family to celebrate the holidays and couldn’t be more excited!  I am blessed to have a wonderful father who happens to be an Irish import to America and a huge, loving family that still reside across the pond.  It’s been a few years since my last visit so I’m really looking forward to reuniting with family AND going on a Fun Fearless Foodie adventure.

Most people think of shepards pie and corned beef and cabbage when it comes to Irish cuisine, but from what I’ve experienced on past trips, there is a lot more to it than that, in fact so many different cultures have immigrated there over the years that you can find just about anything.

While I’m gone I will be recording my foodie finds but likely won’t have an internet connection to keep you updated, so while I’m off the radar, check out some of my favorite foodie blogs on my blogroll to the left or visit FoodieBlogRoll.com.

Have a happy holiday and I look forward to sharing my adventure with you in the new year!

Welcome to Fun Fearless Foodie!
